Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Haider Nadhim Aziz Al-Muhanna, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, preparations are in full swing for the college’s inaugural Job Conference, set to take place in mid-April this year. The college has been working diligently, forming dedicated committees and outlining clear objectives to bridge the gap between academic education and job market demands by creating a dynamic environment that connects graduates with employers and entrepreneurs.
As part of these efforts, Dr. Asmahan Sahl Al-Mousawi, faculty member of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department and a member of the Media & Public Relations Committee, has actively reached out to companies, factories, banks, and unions—both domestic and international—participating in the 48th Baghdad International Fair, inviting them to take part in the event. Many organizations have expressed enthusiasm for the conference’s academic, national, and humanitarian mission and have shown keen interest in joining.
The First Job Conference of the College of Engineering aims to enhance employment opportunities, align education with market needs, and contribute to the ongoing development of academic curricula
